"Plantopia" Fanfiction Guidelines

“Plantopia” has released guidelines for fanfiction so that fans can engage in fanfiction with peace of mind and enjoy “Plantopia” more deeply. These guidelines set forth the conditions under which fans may create fanfictions of “Plantopia” and publish them on the Internet. We ask for your understanding and cooperation so that as many fans can enjoy “Plantopia” as possible.

Publishable Fanfictions
Illustrations, videos, cartoons, novels, and cosplay based on “Plantopia.”

Publishable Internet media
Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Discord, and other social networking sites

Prohibitions
Please do not publish fanfictions with the following content
Content that tarnishes the image of “Plantopia.”
Content that includes expressions may mislead the viewer into believing that it is an official work of “Plantopia.”
Content that infringes or may infringe upon the rights of others
Content that defames or slanders a specific individual or organization
Content containing particular ideas, beliefs, or political or religious messages
Content containing violent or grotesque expressions
Content containing the excessive sexual expression
Content containing antisocial expressions
Please do not use fanfictions for commercial purposes.
Please do not create fanfiction using the music used in “Plantopia” or arrange the music used in “Plantopia.”
Please do not collaborate with other works to create fanfictions.
Fans may create and publish CG videos as fanfiction, but please do not make 2DCG or 3DCG of characters of “Plantopia” and distribute them, and create and publish videos using them (so-called virtual Youtuber activities or similar activities).

1 Fan may freely create and publish “Publishable fanfiction” on “Publishable Internet media” in compliance with the ” Prohibitions

2. Please do not publish any illustrations or videos copied or trimmed directly from “Plantopia,” as they do not apply fanfictions.

3 “Plantopia” is currently working on designs for characters from the novel and characters based on flowers that have not yet appeared
Therefore, please be aware that the settings and designs of characters in future works may be similar to those of characters in fanfictions, and refrain from making any claims.
In addition, there is a possibility that a character in fanfiction may be similar to a character created by other fans in fanfiction. In this case, please refrain from making any claims to other fans.

[Examples of fanfictions]
Creation and publication of illustrations that arrange the costumes and weapons of the characters.
Creating and publishing novels, cartoons, or videos by inventing interchanges between characters already in the original works and developing stories that do not exist in the original works.
Creating and publishing illustrations of characters for which designs have not yet appeared or characters based on flowers that have not yet appeared in the original works.
Creating and publishing novels, cartoons, and videos by inventing interchanges between the characters you have created and those already in the original works or by developing stories that do not exist in the original works.
Creating a cosplay costume of a character and publishing the photographed image.

4 　Any trouble or damage caused by fanfictions shall be resolved at one’s own responsibility and expense.
